It goes into the "other" category on ShopYourWay. On Citi, it shows up like
this which is the same as how it shows up for the user who first tested it. That user said that it usually codes as "business services" on other cards.

Good point. Like I said, that seems the most likely to me. But I would not be so confident.

Thanks! Yep, that's the plan. Just wanted to try out Kasheesh first because those other methods you mentioned involve higher costs (fees, hassle, lost rewards, and/or prepaying expense more than a year in advance).*
I can see how it would fail even though it worked for someone else recently. But
along with all the other hiccups, it makes me uneasy about whether my online offers track at all. I'll probably test something else and hopefully that will work.
*One exception there is a few of my parents' bills that have bad rewards rates under my setup. I grabbed one of them to test Kasheesh. I probably should have just paid that bill directly like you said; even though it was technically excluded in the offer fine print, it seems like most recurring bills actually work (though not all). But I ran it through Kasheesh instead, both as a test and because someone had verified it recently. Another exception is those VGCs you mentioned if I use them for true MS or my parents' bills. I currently have the $50/$750. Planning to try the following in order of priority. Although I haven't told you the rest of my setup, I'd be interested in your thoughts. But no pressure: 1. Walmart Pay VGC (known to sometimes work but seems screwed for me.) 2. Kroger Pay VGC (I have no data but worth a shot as it probably covers grocery.) 3. Giftcards.com VGC (Many data points. Hopefully I can use on taxes, but I can always take a small hit by spending them down organically.) 4. Plastiq (This would be awesome and I have one data point from DoC, but feels sketchy similar to Kasheesh.)
