Just got a letter in my account online that MS is closing my platinum cash plus account. I have recently only kept the 5k in access investing but have not put any money in the cashplus - I have been letting the monthly fees pile up and it was at like a negative $275 balance which I imagine is why they closed it.

Any hope.of convincing them to reopen? And will this cause amex to close my platinum card? I wonder if i I can or should just open another cashplus account...

Also unclear to me if they will wipe out the negative balance or come after me for it.
