Just curious really. We are flying to Hanoi in a couple of weeks with a connection at Doha on this flight from LHR. Yesterday the flight was delayed for 2 hours. I checked the connection from Doha to Hanoi and it took off a few mins late so the difference between QR004 landing and the Hanoi flight taking off was 20 mins. If this happens to us would the plane wait (I suspect it depends how many are going to Hanoi!) and in reality what actuals happens. Thinking of getting an alternative route already set up as I know Doha staff can be very patchy. Really really dont want to spend any time in Doha as we were only there a few months ago on a city break.

Also, why was the plane delayed in the first place? Was it a technical issue?
