Thanks 777 and Dave for your feedbacks. Unfortunately, they are both conflicting so hope someone else can confirm which is true. If Dave is correct, then it is really inconvenient for connecting passengers with BA European flights connecting on other airlines (incl. so called One World alliance partners) to other countries.
