I'm flying Polaris on an award ticket from ORD-AMS in April. This will be my first time flying business class on a long-haul flight! My current flight has a 9 hr layover in ZRH, but I am considering switching it for a shorter 5 hr layover in MUC (no $ difference). Minor differences include flight times and equipment.

ZRH flight: Depart ORD 3:40 PM > Arrive ZRH 7:45 AM vs. MUC flight: Depart ORD 6:00 PM > Arrive MUC 9:40 AM. The equipment for 767-300 for ZRH vs 787-10 for MUC.

Other than the obvious of getting to my destination faster, any pros or cons to consider for each option? I had originally chosen Zurich because I thought it might be a fun all day layover but I'm having second thoughts.
