Well I had to book through AF.

I found the fare I wanted through Google Flights.

But Delta, which loaded the fare, would not let me book it. A couple of times, my Amex processed, even got a text from Amex to validate the transaction. Yet I tried about 5 times, none of them went through, never got confirmation email and nothing showed on my Amex account.

I even contacted reservations and went through the chat, even showed them a screenshot of the GF fare on the checkout page. But they said they couldn't get it, only the fare that was $400 more.

So I just booked it on AF, while logged into AF account. My preference would have been to use my SM account, since miles never expire on SM but they do on AF.

Now can I have it credit to my SM account after the fact?

And would the flight then count towards my DL SM Million Miler Status?
