Talikg on the phone about legal matters is a really bad idea though.
Firstly the agent on the phone has zero decision making powers, so it's not clear what you hope to achoeve.
Then, unless you record your calls, it has zero wortth as far as evidence is concerned. You need a paper trail for these tbings so email is the way to go.
Do CC the CEO for extra speedy treatment.
Maybe, I wasn't clear but the reason I am reaching out to them is to re-engage them in an email discussion.
I submitted a claim it took 4 weeks for a response - the response was a stock answer and a push back dues to 'weather' which was incorrect, They agreed expenses but denied EU261.
They then appear to have CLOSED the case.
The intention is not to speak legal with them.
I want to escalate the case to get it re-opened.
I want to be sure that my replies to the email thread are not disappearing into the ether. I want the individual who responded initially to re-engage.
All in all, I feel I am being pro-active rather than send an email and sit and wait and wait and wait......
But I guess, time will tell.
