- 200k SYW points for $750 online spend offer (running 1/15 - 2/14). Receive 1/16/2014, activated 1/16, confirmed with customer service, when I click on the offer again it says "already activated."
- Spending on 1/16: $5 purchase
- Spending between 1/17 - 02/10:
- $679: KASHEESH.CO NEW YORK NY
- $63: VCI*VITACOST.COM 800-793-2601 FL
- $21: WALMART.COM AR
- $150: WWW COSTCO COM 800-955-2292 WA
- $79: Other, no negatives
- This had all posted by 2/12.
- Balance paid in full, posted on 2/12.
- No negative spending after this, through 2/21.
- Statement closed 2/19.
- Walmart order and several other small online orders were posted on on 1/19. On 1/22 many people received progress emails, I did not receive one.
- I also have not received a progress email on my next online spend offer ($50 statement credit for 750 online spend). Some have.
- I have received other email from that same address [email protected], and I have continued to receive promo emails.
- I have not tried to trigger any other offers yet, other than the SUB.
- My SYW points are working fine, I get point from categories, missions etc.
- All of the Kasheesh spending happened after 1/28. So that didn't break the progress email.
- Kasheesh spending was spread across several different-sized transactions over the course of 2 weeks. No single transaction was over $500. I did have one duplicate transaction of $150, which was refunded. Refund posted 02/08 and that $679 total spend is including that negative amount ($829 spend minus $150 refund).
To me it seems like either
- Kasheesh doesn't always work (it was recently confirmed by a DoC user via progress email and showed up the same way on my statement, same name, same description, same categories);
- Their system is suspicious or confused due to my Kasheesh use (I did receive one $150 refund on an unused Kasheesh card which posted on 02/08);
- I am cursed due to technical issues or suspicious activity. I am unusual in not receiving a progress email; one user here received a progress email for the 250k offer even with no spend. Somebody else had the same situation with $15 spend. On the other hand, somebody else with the 200k offer got their points in early February with no progress email.
To me it seems like 2 is the most likely, 3 in the middle, 1 least likely.
