MQM's for a while (not sure how far back, in your case) were the measure for Million Miler status. As long as you were crediting to Delta SM, you were earning MQM's and therefore accumulating MM.

Well I would be booking through Delta.com. All the AF flights show up with DL codeshare flight numbers (4 digits).
It says I'd get over 21k miles, though this would be a business class ticket. I understand it though, since I don't have status.
