Thanks. My idea was to only have the rollaboard and no personal item so that it's easier to stay within the 12kg limit. But I just measured the Samsonite and it seems AF wants the bag to be 55x35x25, which is 5 cm narrower than most (?) airlines. My bag has a width of 36 cm.
I guess I'll just take a smaller bag and try to cram everything into it then and forget the rollaboard altogether.
you should be fine , but just be ready in case its not allowed in the cabin
