Reporting back. Five days and still no credit, so I am rather annoyed.

It posted as TST*RestaurantName, so I am wondering if the actual issue is that Toast won't work (even for a takeout order). I don't think Amex has the data that I bought a GC? I will have to try a card-present transaction and see if that credits.

This is already really annoying, but I guess I would have kept the card for an AF increase and nothing new anyway..
