I did check my E-mail settings... months ago... everything shows as enabled, but still, the only way I am finding out about these things is often after the fact on FlyerTalk. I had messaged a Lurker about the global promo, which I can't register for, but haven't heard back.
At the risk of going further off topic, you might consider a more official feedback channel such as the website, Twitter, or phone. It sounds more like something's wrong with your account.
Invitations for this event were not sent en masse, so if you didn't get the email, it isn't something you missed.
