Do not let the seaplane journey put you off going to the Maldives, it is absolutely worth it and the journey back was bliss in comparison the one we had outgoing, we were just unlucky. There are also many resorts closer to Male that do speedboat transfers too and indeed, one of the Cocoon Collection is via speedboat, but I would do it all again to go back to this resort.
I would be more tempted to pick one of those bottles than a dessert. But also the selection of desserts looked amazing. Did you try them all?

TheGrunch said, do not let that put you off - plenty of speed boat options (Waldorf comes to mind). Maldives is stunning, and something definitely worth trying

I have flown it once and wouldn't call it fun. Luckily, it wasn't as bad as
TheGrunch's experience. I will keep in mind to check speed boat options when I will be planning my trip to Maldives. thanks for the tips.
