I've just been doing some more research to book award tickets on Bangkok Airways using Avios on QR priv club (using advice above, and trial/error)

Summary:-
- looks like AirFrance website (logged in) shows the same availability as QR live chat agent can see
- there seems to be no correlation to the flight availability on PG website - even on the days there is award space, the flight times that QR can see, are not the same as a specific fare type you can see as available on the PG site.
- I can see lots of availability for every day for the next 30 days... after that absolutely nothing at all (I asked the agent who could not confirm/deny the 30 day rule!!)
- the agent told me that the taxes for bkk-usm was 100thb - incredible!


so has anyone else managed to book Bangkok Airways more than 30 days out ?
