I was in a similar situation where I had 69 nights EOY 23. I redeemed my SPG50 annual choice for 5 EQN, then stayed a night at the crappy Marriott on Long Island to bring me up to 75. I actually had to call in to get my SPG75 annual choice in. I was able to select the FAN 24-48 hours later. This was the first time I had been so close to not qualifying, but Marriott didn’t do much to keep me at their hotels last year. In short, when so close to a deadline like that, then call in or speak with a Lurker.
