We are traveling hand baggage only for the trip but had decided we would check it in on the way out to make life simpler at NCL, LHR and SIN, but now thinking we should not bother as presumably not having to pick up any luggage at SYD will slightly further de risk making our onward connection, or am I being overly cautious?
Travelling HBO could save an hour or more at SYD. Would need to get the QF SYD-WLG boarding pass on line (if possible) or at the transit security-desk. Theoretically would need to formally enter AU, unless you have an issue. But would get the AU ETA, because as far as BA are concerned they are taking you to AU.
