I need help. I purchased a very cheap flight 9 months in advance from Vienna to Seoul via Jeddah with Saudia Airlines. I am supposed to fly May 5. However, Saudia cancelled my flight and does not operate any flights from Vienna nor to Seoul. Thus, they cannot re-book and re-route me on Saudia. What they can do is to book me on a different airline in order to get to my destination. They refuse to do that and only want to offer me a refund. I do not want a refund. I asked to speak to a manager and the manager is never available and never calls back. I am desperate because I have some rights as an EU citizen and they refuse to help me. What can I do in order to get them to book me on different airline? I do not want to lose the opportunity to fly to my intended destination.
