Reading through the rest of this thread, I'm now starting to think that while such vagueness is par for the course with AA, in this instance it is also a deliberate attempt to instrumentalize customers in service of AA's goal of getting agencies to move to NDC. Look how many people are (naturally) calling their agencies to inquire or complain, worried that they won't be getting their AA miles in the future.
I'm not important enough to call my workplace to ask about this, lol. I'll just wait to see where the chips may fall, and if that drives me to credit to BA, then such is life. ESPECIALLY if IAP isn't included.
