That was 35 hours after the reservation. The BRG was answered to 5 hours later (so 41hrs in total). I‘m now trying to catch the moment in which the cancellation date turns over by one day to hopefully maximize the time for the BRG claim.
I've done a bunch of research on this. Here's one of my posts.

To maximize your cancellation window, book as close as possible to (but not before) 00:00 GMT. That’s when the cancellation deadline rolls over to the next day for all properties worldwide. Samoa gets the least amount of time (34 hrs) and Hawaii gets the most time (58 hrs) if you book at 00:00 GMT.
For example, when GMT is 00:00 about 3 hrs from now, it will be Feb 16 and the new cancellation deadline will be 23:59 Feb 17 for all properties. In Samoa, it will be 2 pm Feb 16, so cancellation deadline will be 34 hrs later. In Hawaii, it will be 2 pm Feb 15, and its cancellation deadline will be 58 hrs later.
If you do a search using my handle and GMT as the keyword, you'll find several posts. Hopefully this link works.
