I actually am curious so I might eventually do a comparison when I am at my desktop as that would be a lot easier than trying to do it on my old phone again.
That being said, I believe the base AAA rate in some areas is like $60 a year and you have a poster above saying they'd be willing to pay T-Mobile $50 a month for a dummy line just to use this deal.
Okay, I happen to be home so I'm doing a quick search.
DEN, March 22 01:30am - March 25 5PM
AAA code:
Medium Sedan: 208.46
Tesla Standard: 528.93
Int Electric (Polestar 2): 362.41
Electric Small SUV (Bolt EUV): 500.40
Initially, when I first subbed in the Delta code, it didn't work, but apparently if I unchecked private and checked business it worked:
Same trip as above,
Medium Sedan: 477.45
Tesla Standard: 508.31
Polestar 2: 484.67
Bolt Euv: 479.91
Note: Wow, that Medium Sedan is a huge difference with the AAA code. I entered AAA again just to be sure inventory had changed and Medium Sedan didn't change but Polestar did:
Medium: 208.46
Tesla Standard: 528.93
Polestar 504.26
Bolt EUV: 500.40
Now with the Tmobile stuff, did it on my phone at same time
Tesla Standard: 626.46
Polestar: 596.93
Bolt 590.96
Edit: Let me just do no codes: (these are pay later)
Medium Sedan: 587.88
Tesla SR: 626.46
Polestar 2: 596.93
Bolt: 590.96
Did Tmobile code again after I did LAS search in case I messed with inventory too much doing searches earlier:
Tesla SR: 626.46
Polestar 596.93
Bolt EUV 590.96
Edit: Looking up LAS trip in June:
6/3 1:30am - 6-7 11AM
No codes:
Meidum Sedan: 753.88
Tesla SR: 1233.32
Polestar 2: 994.58
Bolt EUV: 700.92
AAA code:
Medium: 711.03
Tesla SR: 1141.39
Polestar 2: 937.29
Bolt EUV: 736.73
Tmobile code:
Tesla SR: 1233.32
Polestar 2: 994.58
Bolt EUV: 781.23
Delta Code. was having problems getting it to work. said it wasn't valid even using same trick as above messing with business and leisure check boxes
Edit:
That's interesting. Seems like the Tmobile code is the same price as doing no code at all, except that you can return without charging (well there is a data point that doesn't match this above but the other prices seem to fix that. I have been doing the Tmobile code separately on the phone so it isn't a matter of cookies or me messing up the entry.. This little experiment does make me appreciate my AAA discount (and the free driver benefit with friends that are also AAA members. I've had that waste a lot of time at the booth several times, though, but did get the free driver in the end).
