tbh, you should be happy that the option is offered, rather than a simple "no availability" being shown for your search. You might also decide that getting to FRA is good enough and you'll take the train to HAM. You could also be inventive and build in a free stopover.
That is true. But I have not seen "free" stopovers working well with Partner Airlines on AS
