Pretty sure I read somewhere that status doesn't dictate room rates, only past play does. However, I can say I've had generally better offers after matching to Diamond so who knows. The Platinum thing is odd. It seems like you'd either be Diamond or all the way back down to Gold (unless you have achieved Platinum organically?). I just checked and am still Diamond via FC through 1/2025.
