I have had both of these dishes on much shorter domestic flights. There is not enough food with either choice to even get close to a real meal. Has aa really sunk this low? Of course they have. Just a rant.
The egg meal, with juice and a bread item, will easily be 700+ calories. I have a much bigger problem with AA not serving meals at all on lengthy itineraries than I do with offering normal-sized meals instead of super-sized meals.
