I actually had the right idea, years ago, but that ship (or onboard service) sailed. I rarely drink airplane coffee, but I did regularly on UA during proper dinner services of years ago - when the dessert cart came out with ice cream - so I'd order a coffee, a cognac (to put in the coffee) and add some of the ice cream (better than cream y sugar) - yes, domestic service. So, without cognac and ice cream, it is just very traumatic to drink onboard coffee.
Do you remember when UA dropped Starbucks and served "black water" for a while?
Even with cognac, the "black water" was
beyond saving.
