I had a weekend stay here recently and after this I won't be back. Besides the location, this property has really went off the rails. Its sad because previously I defended this property, but I won't be anymore.
- It took almost 4 hours and 4 phone calls to get some extra towels in the middle of the afternoon. Each time telling me they were sorry it will be there in 10 minutes. It feels like pure incompetence or disorganization.
- Breakfast was totally disorganized. Firstly they have a DJ that starts at 9 am blasting music so loud you cannot carry on a conversation. I asked the purpose and they said valentines day, yet it was going all 3 days of my stay that were not valentines day? Additionally, it took almost 30 minutes to place my order as the various staff members would rather engage in arguments with each other over who has what table, while neglecting numerous tables with no service. I finally placed my order with the barista who was apologizing for the obvious mess. Upon leaving there was probably 20 people waiting for a table, even though there were plenty. More of a sign of the general disorganization.
My sugegstion - stay at one of the many other DC area hyatt's that run much better than this mess.
