And you shouldn't need anything like neversssl to get online. - the hotspot / captive portal detection & redirection built into Android, iOS, Windows and Mac OS these days works perfectly to detect a captive portal and automatically redirect you to the captive portal login page on any properly configured hotspot. It's just that Air NZ's system isn't configured very well at all so this doesn't happen.
