I also think UA is thinking OPM GSs might be getting too many benefits detrimental to bottom line - especially those (who are a lot) working for companies already receiving significant discounts. Agreed. I recall the separate area at LHR, and the JFK UC had a nook (with improved food offerings) but think it was less oriented to GS and more oriented towards F pax when PS was a 3-class operation.
