I don't think this is correct. I priced an "H" fare on Cathay Pacific's website and a Y fare on aa.com

According to aa, the "H" fare for RT from JFK to SIN is $US 1,789.83.

You are correct that the aa.com web site prices the trip at USD 4,499.83 for Y fare (which gets 1.50 instead of 1.00 for H fare).

Does he want an additional 10,000 MQM for $2,500? I doubt it. (He can make two mileage runs from the east coast to LAX for less than $1,000 and get the same MQM.

But what about comfort? Is Cathay any good in coach? Or is Singapore Air better? I too am interested in the answer to this question (now if someone else pays for a BC ticket, then it doesn't matter!)
