My initial claim for compensation took 4 weeks to get a response.
When the response came, my claim was knocked back for weather related, unforseen circumstances - basically a stock answer.
This is despite being explicitly told by both the ground staff and pilot, that the original aircraft had experienced technical difficulties and an equipment change was required. The new aircraft had to be checked and catered, hence the delay.
If this is going to take 4 weeks between replies, then I think I will lose the will to live!!
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to expedite the follow up, in a more speedy fashion?
The only option appears to be over email - is there a number I can call to actually speak to someone?
Thanks in advance!
