The Amex Platinum* is a premium credit card for frequent travelers and frequent users. Admittedly, with a monthly fee of 60.00 euros, it is not exactly cheap, but if used regularly and consistently taking advantage of all bonuses, it is even more worthwhile for its owners. The platinum credit card is now even more attractive for new customers: If they successfully apply, they will receive 55,000 Membership Rewards points as a welcome bonus, provided they spend at least 10,000 euros with the card in the first six months, manage the card account properly and do not cancel it within a year. Alternatively, there is also a starting credit of 200.00 euros as a welcome gift instead of bonus points. The requirements remain the same.
Tip: If the Membership Rewards points are cleverly redeemed in the rewards program, they have a significantly higher value than the starting credit.
