If you have an IHG free night flex award and want to use it at this property, you will only be offered a mobility accessible room, i.e. a room for those who are mobility impaired. Such rooms come with a tub but no shower.
I base this on a search just now for a room for one night on a random assortment of dates ranging from February to September.
Not a good look in my opinion. Since I haven't come across this practice at other Intercontinental hotels, I am posting it here to make others aware of the practice.
