It sounds like the agent made the reservation but somehow the actual ticket wasn’t processed, i assume the ticket was paid for via cc not miles, the only thing you could have done was to call or go to the service desk depending and try to get it ticketed the other work around might have been to buy a ticket for a later flight and go standby but in the end it sounds like for whatever reason the reservation was made but the ticket never issued
