Cathay only allows any mobile number or email address to be associated with one account. Since mobile numbers get released and reissued (after a break) I'm not clear what happens if you were to have a newly acquired mobile number which was previously associated with a different Cathay member. It wouldn't surprise me if Cathay's oh-so-wonderful IT people hadn't thought of this problem.
That's not exactly true. I have a mobile number associated to two accounts, and also an email associated to two accounts.
