Not sure how many people realize this, but the Harbour Grand in North Point has a lovely view of both sides of the harbour and the fireworks will pop up right in between. They're probably a little cheaper than the standard 5-star harbourftont hotels such as the Four Seasons, Regent, Rosewood, Peninsula, and the Ritz.
