Hello! Wondering if someone can help me assess how risky this is.
I've an upcoming domestic itinerary to book on VN. My two options are a normal, one way ticket which makes me have to wait ~3h30 at SGN for the connecting flight or booking a multi-city itinerary where I'd book a flight with 55min of connection time. This seems to be below the MCT in SGN which is 60min. This is Domestic-Domestic, final destination PQC.
First leg has 98% on-time performance per EF.

Now...
1. Could, based on the connection < MCT, they deny check-through (which I'd get otherwise I think) of my bag?
2. Is 55 min feasible? What would happen if I miss the flight? Book a new one I imagine?
