The trek up to the tower was interesting with Google guiding me up the steepest road yet which also happened to be cobbled, that was a lot of fun at the end of an hours walk . There was a small bonus though, the cobbled street had the first street art I’ve seen in Istanbul











And this self-effacing chap has a restaurant next to the tower



I also saw this building on the way to the tower, it looked completely at odds to everything around it
