For me, Hampton Inns are very convenient for road trips. Also, even if I liked more the free breakfast option, I have to admit that the credit comes in handy in airport hotels when one has an early flight and would miss breakfast. The perfect balance would be the possibility to choose between breakfast and credit, but it will never happen (as it will never happen to revert to free breakfast in US)
