I never have much luck finding a decent domestic economy ticket; is that because I don't have a Chase United co-branded card?
Yes my UA Chase CC provides access to awards that those without cannot access. I just picked up a XN flight for my son last week that he was unable to book himself (as he does not have the UA card).

I was thinking of getting rid of the Chase CC (and the $95 fee) but I have had some good flight upgrades on the XN flights so worth keeping it for this year. Once I drop from 1K in 2021 I will be getting rid of the CC as the spending does nothing to help me gain status. The prior waiver to Platinum was good.

I will say Chase was great for the car insurance in Europe last year. No fault on my part, declined all coverage with the rental car company and Chase paid for all the costs.
