So how does Polaris fare against other airlines including those outside of Star Alliance?

Other airlines appear to be rolling out new hard product, while UA seems have pretty much completed the Polaris retrofits. I think they said something about new Polaris with doors but not sure of the timeline.

Polaris is going to look less shiny as we go forward.

BTW, are LH airlines going to upgrade their cabins any time soon? How long can they go on charging the same fares as those who are now fully 1-2-1 with better pods?
