It's a contractual right so the refund can't be refused once the booking has gone through. If it is, you have the usual recourse.
In extreme circumstances I suspect BA might suspend your BAEC account or prevent you from making new bookings, but they would probably need to have suspicion of fraud or outright abuse/manipulation of their systems for that to be warranted.
I doubt that even double digit numbers of flights would qualify as the above; in any event, as you say, you have a legitimate explanation for what you're doing.
