After a year's absence,
It was time for me to report back at hospital for an overal check up.
I could have crashed at our pied à terre in Montrose but i thought it better to stay closeby the medical center to avoid the daily commute. Also no1 son at Rice University seemed eager not to host me for the first week.....
Does he need to emergency clean the house?
Or is there a lady friend on the premises?
Or are there any frat bros and has the home become a frat pad ?

Naturally i chose to stay at the IC again,
A good thing though, as the same staff members of last year still recognised me.
Even Rusty was still in residence and every evening enjoying his drink in the lobby.

So everything is still the same as i left it.
You could guess the only change is that the Doubletree next door is getting major overhaul and turned into a Doubletree Suites hotel.

My check in at the IC was done by Elizabeth of reception.
A warm welcome and well informed about RA and diamond privileges:
- upgraded from TWIN premium with sofabed to Executive Suite (cat+2) on level 19
- was offered with no fuss the choice of drinks voucher or breakfast at restaurant Safina
- keycards were properly encoded for complimentary Club Intercontinental lounge access level 18
- as confirmed, destination fee are waved for RA
- AMB F&B credit of $20 was to be automatic deducted at checkout
- hotel offers checkout via the TV, even review bill or request extended late checkout
- free pressreader is offered by QR code on room key
- daily housekeeping
