I don't know exactly how this works for non-KL elite pax, but as a KL elite your benefits are not extended in any way. This means only the person being Flying Blue Silver gets seat benefits and free luggage etc. The other passengers in the same PNR benefit from advanced seat selection without paying the fee (regular seats only) and the same boarding zone, probably zone 3, but that's it.

I'm not sure how this works if you're a VS Silver member, but according to the website it seems you're only getting priority boarding (could be zone 3 just like KL Silver, which is not a SkyPriority zone but only if zones are boarded seperately, the first zone after priority) and use of priority check-in desks. https://flywith.virginatlantic.com/b...e%20Drop%20Off. As far as I can read you do not get free luggage or other benefits, which makes it less of an issue so split your bookings. But I might be wrong, so please comment if I have misread this.
