But I guarantee AC got killed on this route last year. Travel advisories during the duration of the high season. My last flight was 9/30 in J last March (the peak of high season in a good year), with the entire e-up list (15+ pax) getting cleared at the gate. My rev J fare was something like $950 each way from YVR-YUL-LIM (they were alternating YYZ and YUL twice each weekly).

Still, it baffles me why we can’t at least get a UA codeshare through IAH or EWR. The BOG Avianca routing is a special kind of awful from YVR.
They were serving the route via Rouge with 767, probably the route will come back when A320 XLRs are in? Air Transat is squeezing by on that route with a narrowbody.

Peru also had unrests in 2022(I think), when I was looking at my SA trip last year. I picked Chile because it felt safer.

Even LATAM is having a challenging time with long hauls from LIM. They killed the LHR routes after just getting it off the ground.
