I think comparing Polaris to Lufthansa's legacy product is close to as charitable as it gets in terms of a compare, beaten only by VS/NZ's sardine business, BAs old slaveship J which is phasing out in favor of the suite, and the handful of aircraft out there like TK's 773s. It's not strictly better than most of the other contemporary products out there -- I personally find it more cramped and less comfortable than other 1-2-1 offerings out there, but I think it's more marginal and a matter of taste.
