EWR Terminal C - had previously done Next Gen a few months back in SFO, asked to scan boarding pass upon entering Clear lane, sent to Machine 1 where the agent kept mumbling that they shouldn't have sent someone to him (not sure what he was supposed to be doing then), process was exactly the same as previous Clear (not sure of the point of Next Gen - did they just want to rescan ID), selected for "random ID check", then asked by another Clear staffer to scan my boarding pass on his phone again, then taken to TSA to do the whole TSA process - in total, I scanned my boarding pass a total of 4 times

As there was no line at TSA PreCheck, I felt like a big ol sucker ;-)
