This thread caught my eye, would be a bit of a pain if so, but it does sound like some people may have been abusing the system (I saw a facebook post for a 17-year old GGL who seemed to have been perma-banned from heathrow lounges till he turned 18, there was a hint of story there). I've got a family of GCHs, so alas my poor little 2 year old will no longer be able to guest anyone into the BA lounges, which is a minor inconvenience, as in the past it could have let us guest in 3, I guess now we can only guest in a max of 2 people, I suppose I will maintain a watching brief and see if she gets an email one day soon telling her of the new constraint. If we can use that to get 6x£30 vouchers out of BA (ha, fat chance), it can be a good outcome!
(Caveat, I rarely travel thru the UK so as long as the oneworld rules don't change, I can continue to party in the rest of the world, and it remains fairly unlikely that the two-year old was that likely to abuse the self-pour alcohol, or for that matter invite in strangers, since she is unable to reach the table or bar with the booze, or really walk that well with a full glass in hand)
Final note, due to the cost of child tickets (up till 11) being ~25% cheaper in business, my young one was slightly cheaper to get to Gold, so not entirely true to say that her tier points cost the same.
