Weighing in grumpily — why do so many threads here, despite topic, often end up with a string of Aman posts having little or zip to do with OP post?!
ANYWAY, it’s almost a year from initiating this thread. So far, my longest haul flights have been to Zihuatanejo, Mexico, and Vancouver with connection on to Bella Coola, B.C. Although I continue to be tempted by a return to London and an expedition to Morocco. More immediately I’m trying to put together a non-cruise trip to Greenland.
As summer returns, I am looking at national parks in Alberta, Little St. Simon’s Island in Georgia, and, of course, Greenland. Also Canada’s eastern seaboard and Newfoundland. And maybe a Kermode bear trip in B.C. Or a different bear trip elsewhere.
My traveling has increased but has been much less wide-ranging. So, the strictures I noted at first still apply.
A mitigating tactic I’m considering for far-flung air travel is a stop mid way for a couple of days, then continuing on.
