How would you feel if the swap were done on just the return trip? When I've swapped seats with my wife it's because she either met up with me or or flew in economy on the outbound leg while I was upfront.
People also have work to do at home. Sure, away may imply customer contact, but 1:1 customer contact might require 1:50 debrief on the flip side; I'd be at least as worried about your ability to
articulate (in a timely manner) whatever happened there as I'm as what actually happened there.
