AC’s morning departure FROM SFO is still in the running because it is nonstop at the right time, but screw waiting until evening to come home, and a decent coach seat is fine for an A220. They can fool somebody else into thinking they’re a premium airline.
What a bizarre rant. The rules are published very clearly and you didn't meet the criteria to receive the benefits to bring a guest into the lounge.
I can't think of any other airline that would let you bring a guest into the lounge with just a business class ticket. Not sure why you would call AC stingy. Let me guess, you think you deserve special treatment because..?

I for one am glad that AC is sticking to the published criteria for lounge access given how busy it can be. I don't think AC will miss your (or my) business very much.
