I am seeing multiple options on July 5 for GEG-SNA on DL and AS for under $200/person. (Those might be Basic Economy fares.) I suggest that you decide which airline you'd like to fly, and then, if you are credit-worthy, consider applying for that airline's credit card, which should earn you enough sign-up bonus miles to be able to pay for a couple of tickets. And, the credit card should give you free checked baggage, if you need to check bags.
